Randall Osgood
Randy has been an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and has held most section executive positions, including that of Chair in the Real Property North and Wills and Estates North and current chair of the Small, Solo and General Practice North sections of the C. B. A. Randy is also a member of the Business Law North, Commercial Leasing North and Elder Law sections of the C. B. A.
Rosemarie Schlegl
Rosemarie Schlegl was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2007. She received her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Alberta in 2006, a Masters in Library and Information Studies from the University of Alberta in 1996, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Great Distinction) from the University of Lethbridge in 1992. Her areas of practice include Wills and Estates, Real Estate, Corporate / Commercial and Dependent Adult matters. Rose has significant practical experience in all of these areas as, prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked for many years as a librarian and paralegal in Edmonton and Lethbridge law firms.
Ian L. Meikle
Received his Bachelor Degree of Arts from the University of British Columbia in 1965 and his Law Degree from the University of Alberta in 1968. He also obtained his Masters in Business Administration in 1995 from the Asia Pacific International Institute. Ian Meikle had previously practiced in BC with Meikle Shupe & Blair. He came to Edmonton and practiced in the Kingsway Garden Mall with Merchant Law Group before practicing on his own as Meikle Law Office. Ian had more recently focused on Estate and Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship matters, while maintaining the needs of his corporate clientele. Ian Meikle retired in June 2011.
J. Tory Thibaudeau, BA (hons), JD
As a strong litigator, mediator, and registered collaborative lawyer, Tory utilizes her diverse skill set to focus on the most effective manner in which to resolve family disputes.
Tory is an effective advocate in court and appears regularly in both the Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench. And when settling a dispute through non-adversarial means is possible, Tory is qualified to assist clients through the use of mediation or collaborative family law.
In all cases, Tory works hard to secure client-focused outcomes that are effective and practical. She ensures that her clients understand their legal rights, and works to minimize unnecessary conflict, analyze options to ensure the best possible solutions are achieved, and communicate regularly throughout the process.
Committed to continuing education and professional development, Tory regularly pursues courses to enhance her existing skills and she contributes to the community by volunteering at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.
