Rosemarie Schlegl was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2007. She received her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Alberta in 2006, a Masters in Library and Information Studies from the University of Alberta in 1996, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Great Distinction) from the University of Lethbridge in 1992. Her areas of practice include Wills and Estates, Real Estate, Corporate / Commercial and Dependent Adult matters. Rose has significant practical experience in all of these areas as, prior to becoming a lawyer, she worked for many years as a librarian and paralegal in Edmonton and Lethbridge law firms.

Ian L. Meikle

Received his Bachelor Degree of Arts from the University of British Columbia in 1965 and his Law Degree from the University of Alberta in 1968. He also obtained his Masters in Business Administration in 1995 from the Asia Pacific International Institute. Ian Meikle had previously practiced in BC with Meikle Shupe & Blair. He came to Edmonton and practiced in the Kingsway Garden Mall with Merchant Law Group before practicing on his own as Meikle Law Office. Ian had more recently focused on Estate and Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship matters, while maintaining the needs of his corporate clientele. Ian Meikle retired in June 2011.

Committed to continuing education and professional development, Tory regularly pursues courses to enhance her existing skills and she contributes to the community by volunteering at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre.
